Keep Your Addresses Up-to-Date As Your Customers Move
With around 1 in 7 individuals or businesses changing their address every year, it is easy to see how this can develop into a big problem for your customer database. Wrong addresses mean wasted printing, postage and time, not to mention lost opportunities and the potential harm to your reputation in the eyes of your customers.
Additionally, USPS® rules require that all mailers, both First and Standard Class, update their addresses through an approved "Move Update" process within 95 days of a mailing, in order to qualify for automation and other discounts.
SmartAddresser 5’s MUV Module is a great way for you to comply with these rules and reduce your UAA mail. It provides new address information from theNCOALink®Link™ and ANKLink™ systems of the USPS when the addressee has filed a permanent Change of Address™ (COA).
When the name and address information on your mailing list matches the name and "old" address information on theNCOALink®Link database, you will receive the new address, for any moves made within the past 18 months.
ANKLink - ANK stands for "Address Not Known" - is an enhancement to this process, giving you an additional 30 months of change-of-address information. The ANKLink data will not return the new address, but will flag every move that has occurred in months 19-48, along with the move effective date, return code, and match type.

NAVIGATOR
Latitude/Longitude & Census Tract/Block Appending
Navigator for SmartAddresser 5 is an invaluable addition for those wishing to boost the targeting capabilities of their sales and marketing initiatives by assigning geographic data to every address in a database.
Extremely easy to use, Navigator works seamlessly within SmartAddresser 5. Simply check the Latitude/Longitude checkbox and you’re done. There are no fields to create - Navigator will automatically add all of the required fields to your database, and pull the data from the Navigator database.
Plus, export the data to other applications, such as graphical mapping programs!
